Merx Peter (Netherlands) wins stage 6 in Koudougou tour du Faso. He breaksaway to 6 victory in Koudougou, Burkina Faso.

Moise Muguisha (Rwanda) keeps yellow jersey after a tough stage 6 since taken it from stage 2.

Tour du Faso stage 5

Kesteloot Jeroen (Belgian) solo's to stage 5 of tour du Faso victory in Ouahigouya.

He arrive at an average speed of 44.265 an hour.

Meanwhile in the general classification standings is Rwandan Moise Muguisha who hangs unto overall yellow leaders jersey.

Tour du Faso stage 3

Moise Mugisha (Rwanda) solo's to stage 3 victory in Nagreonga, Burkina Faso.
His stage win also sees him takes over the yellow jersey from the Angolan Caesar Bruno who has wore it from stage one.

How it unfolded

It was another stage to Dapaong in Togo and it was a great day with with a wonderful atmosphere.

Moise of Rwanda finished the 145 kilometers stage in 3 hours 33 minutes 20 seconds with a average speed of 40.781km/h.

Mohamed Bouzidi (Algerian) took the green jersey.

Tour du Faso stage 2

Mattias sorghum (Burkina Faso) wins stage 2 bunch sprint in Tenkodogo, Burkina Faso while Bruno Caesar (Angola) keeps yellow jersey.

The second stage of the international tour du Faso travels from Nagreongo to Tenkodogo and ended with a bunch sprint which saw a burnkinababe took the stage win in his home town, he also took the green jersey from Rwandans Didier Munyanesa.

It was an undulating 150.5 kilometer Stage 2.

Tomorrow is stage 3.









Tour du Faso 2019 team time trial







Welcome to 32 International Tour du Faso in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, West Africa.

The tour started with an opening 7.0 kilometers team time trial prologue in the city center of Ouagadougou and it was dominated by an Angolan team which wins the first day amongst the 15 teams represented in this year tour du Faso.

The Angolans now have the first yellow leaders jersey and by so leading the tour.
