Happy New Year World.

Saturday December 2016 broughtdown the final cotton for (Life Style Cycling Club), (Shark's Racing), (Cyclothron Racing Team), (Rivers State Cycling Association) (Veterans Category) and (Nigeria Cycling Federation) ride in the city of Petakwa, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
As they all had a wonderfull end of year ride to say Thank you to all who have been there with them and for them during sponsoring one way other.

Sharks Racing Team Innocent Emmanuel sprints to 1st Ibadan National Chapionship 2016

Innocent Emmanuel (Shark's Racing Team) sprints to #Ibadan National Championship race victory. How it unfolded Final race of the season was held in the home city of one of Nigeria famous great cycling champion Ajibade Qadril who has done his country proud in so many international and local races. Tough day it was going to be in the office sun sets for the boys; The riders who have 5 laps of 20 kilometers circuit in their hand to compete in, with one famous Premier Hill climb that is 6 hundred meters with a ramp up from 4/8 percent gradient as they battle in the city of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. A day full of attacks as the flag went down in the rolling course and everybody kept the big climb in mind as the main battle between (Shark's Racing Team, South South) and (CC12 Western Nigeria) unfolds but Shark's Racing who has been dominating the entire Nigeria Cycling world since 2012 National Sports Festival has kept their performance and pace as high as never before as they have won all the biggest classic race of this season which has made them to become the strongest cycling state in Nigeria. First breakaway that was initiated comprises (CC12) Eyo Effiok, Ajibade Qadril, Harfix Barkare, (Delta State) Kruotimi Abaka, (Oyo State) Odunayo, White, (Shark's Racing Team) Preye John Dede, Bassey Nelson the current Nigeria Road Race Champion, Innocent Emmanuel the current Nigeria ITT Champion was the eventual winner of the race; After third lap and two to go Preye John sets a break that took Eyo Effiok along with him and it was Kruotimi Abaka who went to join them while Ajibade Qadril kick to join up and drag Innocent Emmanuel who followed suit with him. Then three others where left behind in the famous Premier Hill climb, at the finish lap and straight up to the line Innocent Emmanuel outsprinted them all win the final race of the season as Eyo Effiok came 2nd while Qadril Ajibade wraps up 3rd place podium. While current crown Nigeria National champion finishes 7th overrall.

Innocent Emmanuel Wins (ITT)

Innocent Emmanuel (Shark's Racing Team) wins Lubrik National Cycling Festival Individual (ITT) in Rivers State, Nigeria.

How it panned out.

It was a calm and beautiful sunny day on 3rd December 2016, a day which (CC12) Pro Team Eyo Effiok sets to win Gold title, as the first time 10 kilometers intermidiate time check, it was Eyo Effiok who was leading, but when it got into the final 10 kilometers of 40 kilometers, Shark's Racing Team Innocent Emmanuel turns the book around to win by 5 seconds.

Tombrapa Grikpa is the new female road race champion 2016

Tombrapa Grikp wins female road race Lubrik Cycling National Festival.

The (Shark's Racing Female Team) prove once again that they are the strongest women in Nigeria women peleton by dropping all of their rivals in the 110.1 kilometers long distance ride.

They rode perfectly together but only allowed Tombrapa Grikpa to take the overrall title, Tombrapa who just came back from a solid (UCI, Switzerland) camp few months ago.
Glory Odias took 2nd place while Rita Miebakar wrap up top three podium place.

Bassey Nelson wins Lubrik National Cycling Festival Road Race in Rivers state.

Bassey Nelson (Shark's Racing Team) sprints to Lubrik National Cycling Festival Road Race championship win.

How it unfolded in Pro Male Road Race.

The riders woke up to a dull wheather in the eve of the 160 kilometers Road race with a sweet nylon tard road in Rivers State, south South, Nigeria. The state which is the Heart and host city of Cycling Races when you talk about Cycling in Nigeria.

The race started in Aggrey in Port Harcourt, River State, where the riders rode solo for about 28 kilometers and just after they pull out of town and the road heads West to Elele Alimini which was full of lots attacks upon attacks, no breakaways until when it 10kilometers into the race that (CC12) Harfix Barkare, Lawanson, (Shark's Racing Team) Preye John and (Cyclothron) Mavelous Sampson broke clear for 5 ks but was reel in immediately; then it the turn of (Shark's Racing Team) Innocent Emmanuel the winner of the (ITT) and (CC12) Eyo Effiok the second runner of the (ITT) who went clear for about 10kilos but the furious bunch won't let them stay clear.

All the attacks dint go as many other riders gave different shots to but none to work and finally as they kept approaching ten kilometers to go, The Shark's Racing Team boys took over the front for nobody to break or attack until the final kilometers when Preye John Dede lunch their Sprinter Cobra to the with a perfect sprint to win and he's crown the new Nigeria Cycling road race champion.
Congrats to Shark's Racing Team for such a wonderfull performance.

Tempel Bethel wins Junior category race of 2016

Temple Bettel wins junior male category, he is our 2016 junior male champion.

Junior category had 10 laps in there hands, Tempel Bettel brokeaway from lap 6 to go after (Development Team) kept on pushing to form a break but t boys from other states won't let to go; finally it was that of Tempel Bethel that stick and he rode beautifully to win.

Congrats to Development team for a wonderfull of class and riding.
(Oyo State) Azeez Odebeyi 2nd (Development Team) Gideon Akina wrap up podium with third place finish.
