Bassey Nelson wins Lubrik National Cycling Festival Road Race in Rivers state.

Bassey Nelson (Shark's Racing Team) sprints to Lubrik National Cycling Festival Road Race championship win.

How it unfolded in Pro Male Road Race.

The riders woke up to a dull wheather in the eve of the 160 kilometers Road race with a sweet nylon tard road in Rivers State, south South, Nigeria. The state which is the Heart and host city of Cycling Races when you talk about Cycling in Nigeria.

The race started in Aggrey in Port Harcourt, River State, where the riders rode solo for about 28 kilometers and just after they pull out of town and the road heads West to Elele Alimini which was full of lots attacks upon attacks, no breakaways until when it 10kilometers into the race that (CC12) Harfix Barkare, Lawanson, (Shark's Racing Team) Preye John and (Cyclothron) Mavelous Sampson broke clear for 5 ks but was reel in immediately; then it the turn of (Shark's Racing Team) Innocent Emmanuel the winner of the (ITT) and (CC12) Eyo Effiok the second runner of the (ITT) who went clear for about 10kilos but the furious bunch won't let them stay clear.

All the attacks dint go as many other riders gave different shots to but none to work and finally as they kept approaching ten kilometers to go, The Shark's Racing Team boys took over the front for nobody to break or attack until the final kilometers when Preye John Dede lunch their Sprinter Cobra to the with a perfect sprint to win and he's crown the new Nigeria Cycling road race champion.
Congrats to Shark's Racing Team for such a wonderfull performance.
