His stage win also nets him the overrall race leaders jersey.
World time trial champion Tony Martin (Katusha-Alpecin) crashed in the wet conditions.
Phil Bauhaus (Team Sunweb) in the colours of points classification leader - on loan from Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe).
The BinckBank Tour includes stages in the Ardennes and the roads of the Flemish cobbled Classics. Küng is hoping to defend the leader's green jersey to the end in Geraardsbergen on Sunday but knows that every second, including those on offer as time bonuses during stages and at the finish, will likely decide the final overall winner General classification:
