Welcome world to First Criterium Cycling Classic race weekend in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The beautiful City of Port Harcourt has been known in Nigeria as a house where Nigerian Cyclist are born, grown, raise to be great champions. Today marks the start of a new 2017 Cycling season both in Rivers State and other states. With Criterium Races for all categories such as Pro Male, Pro Female, Under 18 boys and girls, Veteran Male, Veteran Female, Veteran Masters. How it happend in Ph Crit Pro Male race 3.4 lap and covered a total kilometers of 53.7. It was day full of attacks upon attacks as the flag went down between (Shark's Racing Team) and (Cyclothron Team). After the neutralised lap attacks never stops until Shark's Racing Innocent Emmanuel brokeaway with Precious Godwill (Cyclothron), next up the road was Shark's Preye John Dede and Cyclothron Mavelous Sampson went to join the others, still in the groupetto there was many attack as well but none stick untill Shark's Bassey Nelson led a move which few riders brokeaway to catch up the front and it all back together (Groupo Compacto), soon again attacks started and in the 10th lap Shark's Bassey Nelson attacks and was join with Preye John of Shark's brokeaway clearly and rode all the laps and they both soloed to the finish light together as Preye crosses the line in first followed by Bassey Nelson, later the the remains of the peleton rolls in and Caleb Kalizibe sprinted to third place.

 After Wednesday's time trial, it was another day for the sprinters, and Ramunas Navardauskas, who took the overall lead in the time trial, finished safely in the bunch to keep hold of the blue jersey.
 The bunch, however, played with fire. Whereas on the opening two stages the breakaway was never allowed to carve out an advantage of more than three minutes, this time a large group of 13 took out nearly six minutes on the 160km circuit-based route in San Martin.
 The catch was only made in the final few kilometres as Quick-Step once again showed themselves to be the strongest team in the peloton as Boonen did plenty of work to ensure a bunch sprint would ensue, and he went on to deliver another textbook leadout for Gaviria, who did not disappoint.

 Once again, Elia Viviani was the only rider to get close, though with three second places now, the Italian must be sick of seeing the back of the QuickStep jersey. "It's difficult to know who is the fastest here," said Gaviria. "I don't know if it's me because I have the best team in world for the sprints. The team put me in the best possible position today.

The 28-year-old clocked a time of 14:03 on the 11.9km out-and-back course in San Juan, raced on road bikes, with Bauke Mollema finishing second at three seconds and his Trek-Segafredo teammate Matthias Brandle world hour record holder finished third at seven seconds, a fraction of a second quicker than French neo-pro Remi Cavagna (Quick-Step Floors).
Navardauskas leads the race overall by the same margins and could now become Bahrain-Merida’s de facto leader as Vincenzo Nibali finished 35 seconds down.
 The time trial was one of two crucial days from a general classification perspective, and it remains to be seen how they play things on the stage 5 summit finish which, although over 2,500 metres of altitude, is said to be not very selective.
