ph criterium classic race result

Pro Male Category Bassey Nelson (Shark's Racing Team) nets his first win of the season by powering to a powerfull victory from the final three men breakaway.

How it happend in the day

It started with a heavy rained downpour in the early hours of the morning but we applaud the organisers who took cautions for allowing the ground to go dried before flagging down the 7th edition race.

There was the presence of the newest inaugurated Nigeria Cycling president chief engineer Masari Giandomenico who did the prize presentation as special guest of honour. It was a tough back-to-back course which hairpins and sharpbend left turn and a sharp swing right turn and a roundabout to catch in this race.

As the flag went down it was attacks upon attacks for breakaway riders but none could be let out until from 8 laps out of 16 laps there was breakaway which two Shark's Racing boys, Bayelsa state and cyclothron. They attack to drop the cyclothron captain who we believe also suffered from his early mistune from crashing nastily and the men rode perfectly until the last when Shark's Racing Team Bassey Nelson powered to victory while Team Bayelsa team Abaka finish second and Preye John Shark's Racing wrap up third place.

Pro Female Category Ese Ukpeseraye (Team Cyclothron) rides to female ph classic race victory in Port Harcourt.
Ese who just came back from a terrific camp when she was suppose to represent the junior female category in comon wealth games but mis out due to visa problems that affected almost all the team Nigeria contigents. But we saw a rider in top shape after a period of long camping in the federal capital territory Abuja, Nigeria.

She rode perfectly in her solo break to secure 7th edition ph criterium cycling classic race win.
Meanwhile Glory Odiase of Shark's Racing Team sprinted to second place with teammate Rita Aggo took the third place.

 Pro Veteran Category
Emmanuel Onasanya sprinted to 7th edition ph crit classic race. Jimmy Obafemi took second as Phillip Iniobong wrap up third place.

 Junior Boys Category
Bettel Vitalis sprints to junior category race victory after a tough race course.
