Warren Barguil (Team Sunweb) wins stage 18 atop Izoard, France.

Warren Barguil (Team Sunweb) rides solo to stage 18 victory atop Col d Izoard, TourDuFrance.

Darwin Atapuma (Team UAE) takes most combative rider prize in stage 18.
Chris Froome (Team Sky) scale through stage 18 to retain yellow jersey in the Alps.
Simon Yates (Orica-Scott) keeps white jersey after tough day in the Alps.

The sun was out and the smell of Paris was in the air with just one more mountain stage to overcome.
The 179km ride to the Col d'Izoard would be the last opportunity for many riders to take a stage win and for a lot of the general classification riders to enact some change in the standings.
